Dr. Douglas Blocker

THE IMPORTANT STUFF

Education and Training: Dr. Blocker graduated from Lehman High School and grew up in Canton, Ohio. He attended Miami University of Ohio, and went on to Ohio State Medical School. He was a Resident physician at Nationwide Children’s Hospital for two years, then a chief resident of Pediatrics at the University of Oregon Medical Center Children’s Hospital. He completed one year of Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship there as well.

Dr. Blocker has been practicing pediatrics since 1977.

THE FUN STUFF

Dr. Blocker is blessed with a wonderful wife of almost 50 years, 2 children, and 6 grandchildren. He also has a large extended family of relatives and close friends.

Dr. Blocker enjoys exercising to stay healthy, loves music and theater, and enjoys keeping up on scientific reading, as well as current events.
