Dr. Marla Kantaras

THE IMPORTANT STUFF

Education and Training: Dr. Kantaras graduated from Revere High School. She attended Youngstown State University, and then went on to NEOUCOM (Neomed) to obtain her medical degree. She completed her Residency at Akron Children’s Hospital, where she also served a a chief resident (along with Dr. Kungle!). She volunteers at Neomed as an admissions volunteer, and is an adjunct faculty with Marietta College.

THE FUN STUFF

Dr. Kantaras enjoys hiking and exploring the trails of the Metroparks and Cuyahoga Valley National Park with her husband, as well as kayaking on the portage lakes. She likes traveling and learning about unique places and cultures. When she wants to relax, she likes to read or do word puzzles.

She loves spending time with her family and friends, and especially enjoys hanging out with her grown-up son and daughter, and their adorable pets.
