Sick Visits
Sick visits are for discussing a specific concern/illness. Our office usually schedules these appointments on the same day that patients call in. If a patient has a sick concern on the day of a well visit, it may result in two separate appointments.
Shot Only Visits
Shot only visits are for coming in to get an injection. You do not see a physician during these appointments.
Medication Checks
Medication check visits are for discussing the management of a long term medication. Most long term medications require visits at least every 4-6 months in order for us to continue prescribing the medication.
Extended Sick Visits
Extended sick visits are for concerns that are more complicated, or have been going on for longer. These appointments are scheduled for a longer time, so that the physician has time to address the concern adequately. If the complaint has been going on for a prolonged period, or is more complicated than an acute illness, let the phone staff/schedulers know this so that a longer appointment may be booked.
